After seven months, the math department and I have just finished the application process and are reviewing the candidates. Perhaps inevitably, living within a twenty mile radius of the Google, Facebook, and Apple campuses taught me to love technology and to admire the staggering influence that it has in our constantly evolving world. I have been laughed at by a Rubix cubing team after singing to and getting rejected by my almost date for my junior prom. On top of that, my preschool teacher still comes over for dinner once a month.
